Driver Class B Position Details:
• Pay: Earning $1,200+ Weekly • Shift: Tuesday - Friday • Dispatch times vary, must be flexible (typically between 3am- 5am) • Home daily, no overnights • 6+ months of experience driving a box truck required • Job Location: 1945 James Pkwy, Heath, OH, 43056 Position Summary The Driver Class B is responsible for safely operating a straight truck or tractor-trailer on local, shuttle, overnight, and over-the-road routes to deliver food and food-related products to customers. This role ensures timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards. The Driver Class B serves as a professional representative of the company through positive interactions with customers, vendors, and team members and contributes to the overall success of warehouse and transportation operations. Primary Responsibilities
• Perform all required safety inspections, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. • Report all safety concerns, accidents, vehicle issues, and required repairs promptly. • Inspect trailers to ensure freight is properly loaded, secured, and safe for transport. • Verify product counts and customer invoices for accuracy before departure. • Complete all transportation and delivery paperwork accurately and legibly. • Move equipment to loading docks and attach preloaded trailers as needed. • Deliver customer orders according to assigned routes and schedules. • Unload products and transport them into designated customer storage areas. • Perform damage checks on products and report discrepancies according to company procedures. • Scan products and complete delivery verification requirements. • Obtain customer signatures and collect payments when required. • Load customer returns and secure freight and trailer doors properly. • Ensure company equipment, vehicles, and freight remain secure at all times. • Process damaged products and customer returns according to company procedures. • Unload equipment, materials, and remove debris from trailers as needed. • Maintain Hours of Service logs and all DOT-required records accurately. • Perform general housekeeping duties in vehicles, loading dock areas, and trailers. • Secure all equipment and complete end-of-shift documentation. • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, supervisors, and coworkers. • Follow all company safety policies and procedures. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B.
6+ months box truck driving experience
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Meet all state licensing and certification requirements, where applicable.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past three years.
Ability to pass a post-offer drug screen and criminal background check.
Ability to pass a road test.
Current DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
Ability to safely lift, move, and transport products using a two-wheeler, lift gate, or other material-handling equipment.
Ability to lift products weighing 10-35 pounds regularly and up to 60-90 pounds as needed, depending on location.
Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience of commercial driving experience
Foodservice distribution industry experience
Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. PeopleNet)
Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e. POD)
Customer service related work experience
