Project Mgr I - Tech
Job Description: BAE Systems is seeking a hands-on Project Integrator / Scrum Master to support day-to-day execution across cross-functional software and engineering teams. This role will coordinate Agile delivery, manage dependencies and blockers, and work closely with developers, DevOps, QA, technical leads, product owners, and stakeholders to drive work to completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement. • Manage and track epics, user stories, dependencies, risks, and action items. • Work directly with technical teams to drive sprint commitments and resolve blockers. • Coordinate activities across software development, DevOps, infrastructure, QA, and platform teams. • Support planning, testing, deployment, and production activities. • Maintain Agile dashboards, metrics, and status reporting using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools. • Partner with Product Owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize work, and maintain delivery alignment. • Communicate technical risks, dependencies, and delivery status to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Drive continuous improvement and help teams improve Agile processes and delivery.
Required Skills and Education: Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. • 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master, Agile project management, technical project integration, software delivery, or a related role. • Hands-on experience working with software or engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Experience managing backlogs, user stories, sprint commitments, risks, issues, and dependencies. • Strong understanding of software development and delivery processes. • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and coordination skills. • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tools.

Preferred Skills and Education: Preferred Qualifications
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM. • Experience supporting DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud, or platform engineering teams. • Technical understanding of enterprise software development and deployment. • Experience coordinating software releases and production activities. • Experience in a government or defense environment.
