Job Description: The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.

What You’ll Do: • Implement and support the maintenance of the BAE Earned Value Management System Description, Procedures, Directives, Work Instructions and applicable EVM Data Item Description (DID) requirements. • Work closely with Tier 1 programs in a support function providing training, direction, and guidance in the application of complaint Earned Value processes during new program startup, re-plan requirements, and general execution. • Develop procedures, directives and work instructions to support EVM compliance requirements. • Enforce compliance with EVMS policies, procedures and processes. • Support program Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs). • Support Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs). • Manage Internal Audit program. • Support DCMA as required to resolve corrective actions and discrepancy reports. • Lead resolution efforts to resolve EVMS discrepancies identified through internal and external reviews. • Lead Pit Crew meetings. • Participate in and drive EVM initiatives. • Develop and Present EVM training. • Provide BART Tool support for EVM. • Provide support as needed to the Scheduling Compliance group. • Provide assistance in generating Internal Audit Reports for Tier 1 Programs. • Review and audit EVM deliverables on programs as required. • Support maintenance of the EVM SharePoint site. • Collaborate and coordinate with the other SBUs as required. • Directly manage and mentor junior team members, accelerating their professional development and increasing overall team productivity. • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment. • Perform other duties as necessary. On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions: • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Short Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.

Required Skills and Education: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 10 or more years related experience. • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education. • Working knowledge of the following EVM artifacts: Data Item Descriptions, SOW, CDRL/SDRLs, WBS and Dictionary, OBS, Control Accounts, Work/Planning Packages, IMS & Quantifiable Backup Data, Program Logs, Management Reserve, Undistributed Budget, Material Management, Subcontract Management and Estimate at Completions. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across project organizations. • Experience in Training and Process Improvement. • Microsoft (MS) Excel, Power Point, and other MS office applications proficiency. • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. • Independent, self-motivated, ability to meet critical deadlines in fast paced, dynamic environment. #LI-LO1A security clearance or access with Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position.
