Job Description: Our Combat Mission Systems (CMS) team is seeking someone interested in launching their career in Contracts via our Contract Operations/Shared Services team. This hybrid role, based in York, PA; Sterling Heights, MI; Maple Grove, MN; or Louisville, KY will ensure the seamless execution of contract management responsibilities across the business portfolio. Serving as a consultant to management and CMS contracts function on compliance, policies, procedures and more.

Key responsibilities are outlined below, but other duties may be assigned: • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining CMS Contracts policies and procedures to ensure adequate policies and processes are in place and verify compliance and alignment with BAE Systems wide policies and procedures. • Ability to provide clear guidance on business compliance, policies, and procedures. • Provide contract-related insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making. • Draft and distribute communications and correspondence to implement changes and distribute updates that are flowed down from the business. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. • Consult on special projects requiring knowledge of corporate compliance and departmental policies and procedures. • Use organizational skills to manage, coordinate, and respond to requests for taskers, data calls, audits, and all activity in support of the Contracts function.

Required Skills and Education: • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. • Strong knowledge of contract administration principles, corporate policies, and procedures. • Thorough understanding and knowledge of FAR/DFAR principles and requirements. • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines. • Possess skill and knowledge to interpret Customer contract, technical specifications, and solicitation requirements. • Proven ability to understand, interpret, and improve a company’s policies and procedures. • Possess strong motivation and initiative to independently and successfully gather, compile, analyze, and interpret complex multiple-source interdepartmental data.
