Key areas of responsibility
• Define and own the automation strategy and test framework for clinical dashboards, backend microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and integrated workflows. • Lead the development of automated tests covering UI, API, integration, system, and end-to-end scenarios. • Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using C# and suitable tools such as Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, and NUnit. • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to automation engineers on test architecture, tooling, coding practices, and quality standards. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish reliable execution, reporting, and quality-gate mechanisms. • Collaborate with software developers and technical leaders during design and code reviews to ensure testability is built into the solution. • Define test coverage metrics, quality KPIs, defect-management practices, and release-readiness criteria. • Investigate test failures, coordinate defect resolution, and drive root-cause analysis with development teams. • Prepare test plans, protocols, reports, and other documentation required for quality-management and regulatory compliance. • Evaluate emerging automation tools and continuously improve test coverage, execution speed, reliability, and maintainability. Work Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. Must have Experience
• 7- 10 years of experience in software quality engineering, including a minimum of three years in a senior or lead automation role. • Strong programming and automation-development experience in C#. • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, SpecFlow, NUnit, or equivalent technologies. • ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification. • Proven experience designing and maintaining test-automation frameworks from the ground up. • Strong knowledge of UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies. • Experience integrating automated tests with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD platforms. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, mentoring, and technical-leadership skills. • Experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments. • Ability to use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate test design, automation, and analysis. Good to have experience:
• Python scripting and automation tooling. • Docker and Kubernetes-based test environments. • API testing using tools such as Postman or RestSharp. • Performance and scalability testing. • Regulated software development, preferably involving IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, or medical-device software.
