Job Title: Financial AnalystJob DescriptionThis Financial Analyst role focuses on driving digitalization, improving reporting efficiency, and supporting plant and operational finance in a manufacturing environment. You will partner closely with operations and finance teams, own key financial results, and provide insight into product costing, plant inefficiencies, and variance drivers. The position offers strong growth potential for someone with an analytical and growth mindset who is eager to move into a larger role.Responsibilities

• Use digitalization tools to streamline and improve financial reporting efficiency. • Support month-end close processes, including preparing and processing journal entries. • Perform product and project costing, including analyzing production and manufacturing costs. • Partner with operations and finance teams, including regular presence on the shop floor, to act as a connector between operations and finance. • Understand and manage business analytics, waste reporting, month-end closing activities, and financial projections. • Process journal entries and analyze cost allocations to ensure accuracy and proper alignment with financial statements. • Calculate plant inefficiency and analyze production data to identify cost drivers and improvement opportunities. • Own financial results, interpret performance, and clearly communicate the story behind the numbers to stakeholders. • Leverage advanced Excel and ERP systems to build reports, perform variance analysis, and support P&L analysis. • Contribute to forecasting, data analysis, and variance analysis to support decision-making. • Participate in digitalization initiatives, including scripting, automation, and AI-driven solutions, to enhance operational and reporting efficiencies. • Build or support the development of dashboards and reports, including the use of Power BI where applicable. Essential Skills

• 2–3 years of experience in a Financial Analyst position. • Experience performing journal entries and supporting month-end close processes. • Experience with product costing, project costing, and manufacturing or plant-related cost analysis. • Hands-on experience with a large ERP system (SAP or another comparable ERP). • Advanced Excel skills, including SUMIFS, complex IF statements, and VLOOKUP functions. • Strong analytical mindset and professional financial acumen. • Experience with financial analysis, including P&L analysis, forecasting, data analysis, and variance analysis. • Ability to understand and analyze waste reporting, plant inefficiencies, and overtime variances. • Digitalization mindset with the ability to use technology to drive operational efficiencies. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or a closely related field). Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing finance experience, particularly in a plant or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment (preferred). • Prior experience with SAP specifically, in addition to other large ERP systems (preferred). • Experience building dashboards and using Power BI for reporting and analytics (preferred). • Exposure to scripting, programming, or automation tools to support digitalization and reporting efficiency. • Interest or experience in AI-driven digitalization initiatives. • Professional accounting designation such as CPA, or progress toward such a designation (preferred). • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines, especially during month-end and busy seasons. • Demonstrated growth mindset with a strong desire to advance into larger roles • Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operations stakeholders and to translate data into clear business insights. Work EnvironmentThis role is based on-site in a manufacturing environment and requires working in the office five days a week for at least the first six months. The standard work schedule is 40 hours per week, typically from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the potential for overtime during busy seasons or project work. You will regularly collaborate with both office-based finance staff and operations teams on the shop floor. The environment includes the use of large ERP systems, advanced Excel, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI to support financial reporting and analysis. The dress code is business casual in the office. When working on the shop floor, a uniform or appropriate attire may be required and will be provided. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
