Finance Manager needed in Miami FL! Job DescriptionAs a Finance Manager, you will lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to enhance accuracy, consistency, and predictability across various projects and initiatives. You will establish financial accountability by monitoring budgets, tracking performance against targets, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Your role involves identifying, assessing, and communicating financial risks, assumptions, and constraints, while supporting leadership decision-making through detailed financial analysis and scenario planning.Responsibilities
• Drive value creation by optimizing resource allocation, improving cost management practices, and ensuring efficient use of investments. • Develop and maintain short and long-term financial forecasts, incorporating strategic priorities and changing business conditions. • Analyze operating costs and spending trends, providing insights and recommendations for financial performance improvement. • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate investments, strategic initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities. • Advise leaders on funding priorities, timing considerations, and scope adjustments while evaluating risks and business impacts. • Establish and maintain financial governance processes, including budget controls, variance analysis, and performance tracking. • Identify potential financial exposures, quantify impacts, and partner with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with operational goals and priorities. • Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and presentations that communicate financial performance and recommendations. • Leverage automation, analytics, and technology solutions to improve reporting efficiency and enhance decision support. • Partner with finance, accounting, procurement, and other business functions to ensure compliance with financial policies. • Evaluate competing priorities and investments, balancing financial, operational, and strategic considerations. • Influence resource allocation and prioritization through collaboration and stakeholder engagement. • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by providing financial insights to support strategy execution. • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), or strategic finance. • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical skills. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning and reporting systems. • Proven ability to create multi-year financial models, business cases, and investment analyses. • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. • Experience partnering with leaders and influencing decisions across multiple functions. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and operate effectively in situations with ambiguity. • Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, budgeting, and performance management principles. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial information into business insights. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
