Job Title: Administrative ClerkJob DescriptionThe Administrative Clerk provides essential clerical and administrative support in a fast-paced corporate headquarters environment. This role focuses on high-volume invoice processing, mail handling, data entry, and coordination of research-related communications, ensuring that documents and information are accurately sorted, verified, and routed to the appropriate teams in a timely manner. Responsibilities • Print more than 300 invoices daily with a high degree of accuracy and consistency. • Sort invoices by stock and dropship categories to ensure proper processing and workflow. • Verify that dropship invoices comply with established processes and prepare them for AnyDoc in a timely manner. • Collect daily mail from the mailroom, sort it, and distribute it to the appropriate specialists. • Forward emails containing research questions and account statements to the correct supervisor or designated research email inbox. • Provide backup support for the AnyDoc desk, assisting with document preparation and processing as needed. • Verify edits from the dropship report to ensure data accuracy and alignment with internal procedures. • Assist with verifying stock batches when required to maintain accurate records and inventory-related documentation. • Serve as backup support for Stock Keyers when needed, helping to maintain continuity of operations. • Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization to support the broader administrative team. • Maintain organized records and documentation to facilitate efficient retrieval and reporting. • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and supervisors to resolve questions and ensure smooth workflow. Essential Skills • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process high volumes of invoices and documentation. • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks such as sorting, verifying, and distributing documents and mail. • Effective research skills to route inquiries and statements to the appropriate contacts or departments. • Basic knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets for tracking, updating, and reviewing data. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for everyday administrative and clerical tasks. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with specialists and supervisors. • Ability to perform filing, data entry, and general clerical work efficiently and accurately. • Administrative support experience, including mail sorting and report analysis. • Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to incorporate guidance into daily work. Work EnvironmentThis role is fully onsite at a corporate headquarters in a cubicle-based office setting. The Administrative Clerk works in a structured, professional environment that relies on office technologies such as printers, scanners, Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, and document processing tools like AnyDoc. The position involves regular interaction with mailroom operations, specialists, and supervisors, with a focus on timely and accurate document handling. The workday is conducted in a traditional office atmosphere with standard business attire, and the role requires comfort with working at a computer and handling physical documents throughout the day. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collierville, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
