About this role

Operations Supervisor - Bone-In Production | 1st Shift

Location: Hatfield, PA | On-site Schedule: Rotating 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. start times | Flexibility based on production needs

Clemens Food Group's Hatfield Main facility is a more than 1 million-square-foot fresh pork harvest and fabrication operation producing the raw and fresh pork products at the foundation of our business. With the capacity to harvest up to 12,000 hogs per day, the facility produces approximately 650 million pounds of pork annually and operates at a scale that gives leaders broad exposure across the fresh pork value stream.

As the Operations Supervisor, you'll lead approximately 50 team members, including two Team Leads, across picnic boning and baby back rib production. You'll have significant responsibility for people, safety, training, daily execution, and cross-functional coordination. The scope is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who can act with urgency, explain the why behind expectations, and continue growing toward leadership opportunities within Clemens Food Group.

What You'll Do

• Own performance across safety, food safety, quality, production, labor, yield, schedule attainment, and operational KPIs.

• Lead daily execution across picnic boning and baby back rib production while coordinating work that affects Trim Blend, Marinate, Cryovac, and other downstream areas.

• Maintain a strong production-floor presence, actively coach Team Members and Team Leads, and ensure new hires progress through knife training at the right pace.

• Lead daily huddles, support pre-operational readiness, participate in safety walks, address performance gaps, and provide an effective handoff to second shift.

• Partner with Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Sanitation, Safety, Sales, Materials Management, Trades, and other Operations teams to solve problems and improve overall performance.

What We're Looking For

• At least three years of supervisory or people-leadership experience in production, manufacturing, distribution, retail operations, or a similarly fast-paced environment.

• Previous food manufacturing experience preferred, with meat or protein processing experience strongly preferred. Retail meat department leadership is also highly relevant.

• Candidates from other complex, high-volume operational environments with strong transferable leadership experience are encouraged to apply.

• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage KPIs, coach performance, develop people, and deliver daily operating results.

• A people-first leadership style with the ability to build trust, speak straight, manage conflict, and explain the why behind expectations.

• A self-driven approach with a bias for action, strong sense of urgency, and ability to anticipate and respond to changing production needs.
