About the role. McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking a Laundry Room Attendant to join our Florenceville team. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient laundry operation that supports plant employees and food safety standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in garment care, facility cleanliness, inventory management, and maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
What you’ll be doing.
• Clean and maintain lab coats, coveralls, and other plant garments on a daily basis. • Maintain glove dispensing stations throughout the facility. • Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and operating efficiently. • Clean and maintain the packaging conference room, hallway, team rooms, offices, locker rooms, and washrooms. • Perform sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and other housekeeping duties as required. • Order, receive, and stock laundry room supplies and garments. • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to laundry operations. • Coordinate the ordering of new garments as required. • Safely lift, carry, and handle boxes and bags weighing up to 20 kilograms. • Complete required training on chemical systems and allergy awareness while adhering to safety procedures.
What you’ll need to be successful.
• Grade 12 education or GED equivalent. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • Demonstrated reliability and a strong attendance record. • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 kilograms. • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain positive working relationships. • Self-motivated with strong initiative, observational skills, and a positive attitude. • Basic computer skills are considered an asset. • Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
About the team. The Laundry Room Attendant is part of the Florenceville operations team and works closely with employees across production, packaging, and support functions. This role contributes to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workplace by supporting garment management and facility housekeeping requirements.

Compensation Package: - Starting at 22.53 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
