In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Manager while being based in our 6th October City site. Sounds interesting? • Troubleshoot and resolve faults in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and control circuits. • Monitor and improve performance of automation equipment to reduce downtime. • Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and internal safety procedures. • Apply root cause analysis (RCA) techniques to identify and fix recurring problems. • Maintain and update maintenance logs and documentation using CMMS. • Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. • Install, configure, and calibrate sensors, VFDs, and other control devices. • Support the commissioning of new machines and upgrades of existing systems. • Collaborate with production teams to minimize disruptions during maintenance. • Ensure adherence to Food Safety standards during all maintenance activities. • Follow and enforce company’s Health & Safety policies and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures. • Participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to enhance equipment reliability. • Train and guide junior technicians in troubleshooting and best practices. • Monitor and control spare parts stock for electrical and automation components. • Support audits and inspections by ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards. • Optimize energy consumption of automation systems where possible. • Document modifications and updates in electrical and control systems. • Collaborate effectively with other departments regarding planned and unplanned maintenance. • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Automation Engineering or related discipline. • 5+ years of experience in electrical & automation maintenance, including exposure to engineering projects involving resources from diverse disciplines. • Good command in TPM, KPI, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing and project controlling tools. • Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines. • Good command in stakeholder management and communications. • Basics of financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP). • Project Management experience.
