As a Senior Associate in our Tax practice, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client relationships, manage and inspire others, and navigate increasingly complex situations. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions while embracing ambiguity and using these moments as opportunities for growth.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analyzing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. You will utilize a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems, developing a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is evolving. Responsibilities
- Navigating complex tax regulations to optimize client tax positions and minimize compliance risks - Reviewing and analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns - Collaborating with asset management firms to provide specialized tax services, including fund structuring and investor reporting - Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and generate innovative solutions - Drafting and preparing tax documents to support compliance with global tax and regulatory requirements - Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for improving tax strategies - Upholding professional and technical standards in accordance with PwC's tax guidance and code of conduct - Building meaningful client connections and anticipating their needs to deliver quality tax services
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline - At least 2 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Finance, Accounting, Business Administration - At least one of the following: Progress toward professional certifications such as CA, CA (Inter), CPA, CFA (Level I), or equivalent internationally recognized certification - Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements - Navigating complex tax regulations and optimizing tax strategies - Developing and interpreting data insights for informed recommendations - Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex concepts - Managing and preparing tax documents for compliance and reporting - Embracing change and adapting to evolving tax environments
