Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 3 (Day Shift)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team on the day shift. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to safety and precision in assembling and troubleshooting complex systems.Responsibilities
• Demonstrate safe work practices including electrical safety, safe lifting techniques, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. • Follow work instructions to integrate subassemblies and components into the build of complex systems to prepare for functional testing. • Read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. • Use precision measurement tools including torque wrenches, digital multimeters (DMMs), height standards, precision measurement tools, levels, and unique electronic data gathering tools as prescribed in work instructions. • Disassemble and pack systems in preparation for shipment and delivery to customers. • Write daily pass downs and store build data as directed. • Perform basic troubleshooting and assist Manufacturing Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. • Identify improvement opportunities for safety, manufacturing processes, or 6S as they arise. • Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in assembly and troubleshooting complex systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• An Associate’s degree in technical engineering or a back ground in Technical Field Service is preferred. • Knowledge of hardware, software, and control systems. • Experience with manufacturing is preferred. • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is preferred. • Aptitude for identifying and resolving recurring problems. • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interface with assembly technicians, engineering, management, customers, sales, and marketing. • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required. Work EnvironmentThe work environment is dynamic and requires the ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing. The role involves using standard hand tools and standard office equipment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
