Over time, training will be provided on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC). The role involves working within both the Oral Dose Solids and Nasals departments. The position supports the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products and provides analytical support for regulatory submissions. The scientist will assist in analytical method validation and transfer activities, performing tasks in compliance with cGXP standards, SOPs, and company procedures.Responsibilities
• Conduct chemical and physical analyses to support product development and regulatory submissions. • Provide analytical support for the release of registration materials. • Assist with analytical method validation and transfer activities. • Perform analytical tasks within assigned timelines, ensuring compliance with cGXP standards. • Document analytical activities and results accurately and in a timely manner. • Identify and troubleshoot execution challenges of analytical methods. Essential Skills
• Proficiency in dilutions and sample preparation. • Experience in biochemistry and chemistry. • Quality control and chemical testing expertise. • Bachelor's degree in a science field, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry. • Prior lab experience, which can be from school or other settings. • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. • Strong lab experience outside of academia is preferred. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work with supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency. Work EnvironmentThe position is based in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities in both the quality group and occasionally the manufacturing area. The job offers two shifts: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with some flexibility. Initially, the schedule starts as five 8-hour days, with the possibility of transitioning to a four 10-hour day schedule after training. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
