Clinical Research Coordinator (Oncology)About the Role Join a leading cancer research team as a Clinical Research Coordinator supporting complex oncology clinical trials. In this patient-facing role, you will work directly with participants throughout the clinical trial process, including screening, consenting, scheduling, and conducting study visits. You will collaborate closelywith research nurses, investigators, and multidisciplinary teams while supporting multiple active studies within a thoracic or Phase I oncologyprogram.Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct patient visits in accordance with clinical trial protocols • Screen and recruit eligible study participants, including chart reviews and eligibility assessments • Obtain informed consent and educate patients on study requirements • Support participant enrollment, follow-up, and retention activities • Collaborate with research nurses and study teams to ensure protocol compliance • Maintain accurate study documentation and patient records • Assist with recruitment efforts through referrals, tumor boards, and new patient consults • Support approximately 10 study participants across multiple ongoing clinical trials Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree • Minimum 1 year of patient-facing clinical research experience • Experience consenting patients and conducting study visits • Experience working on clinical drug trials with moderate to high complexity • Strong clinical and patient interaction skills • Basic understanding of clinical research regulations and processes Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology clinical research experience • Phase I clinical trial experience • SOCRA or ACRP certification • Clinical research certification or willingness to obtain certification Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts • Start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM based on patient schedules • Collaborative team consisting of Clinical Research Coordinators and Research Nurses Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
