Job Purpose
To research and apply customer payments and handle customer requests and adjustments related to Corporate Catering Accounts and other Panera customers.
Location: St. Louis, MO (hybrid)
Duties & Responsibilities
• Records and reviews customer payments in IREC and Workday systems to apply to proper invoices • Pulls third party/student card payment information from necessary portals and performs reconciliations • Researches & applies unapplied payments • Creates month-end journal entries and produces miscellaneous customer invoices • Responsible for collecting outstanding invoices for designated range of Company and Franchise CCA Customers • Supports catering teams and provides excellent customer service to catering customers • Responding to customer inquiries, invoice copy requests, performing necessary invoice adjustments and revisions and researching with the cafes while continuing to provide Panera Warmth • Produces and provides notes for management reporting • Provides back-up support on other receivables processes • Escalates issues appropriately
Qualifications (Education & Experience)
• Associates degree and previous Accounts Receivable experience a plus • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy is imperative • Experience with high volume workloads • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to develop relationships with customers and team members • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with expanding duties and responsibilities • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams • Experience with Workday or other large ERPs preferred, but not required.
