Summary: The supervisor oversees a team of drivers [Class A and B] delivering to Domino’s Pizza stores. The supervisor is responsible for scheduling drivers, routing trucks, reviewing trip sheets for accuracy and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, state, local laws, and company policies and programs. Effectively and efficiently handle customer complaints and concerns. Train new drivers in job duties, safely, and complete Job Safety Observations (JSO). The supervisor must be comfortable working in a diverse, fast paced environment.
Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-12:00am must be flexible
Compensation: Starting at $80,000 depending on experience + Bonus
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Leadership:
Recruit, interview, select, and mentor new and tenured driversSupport driver engagement initiativesMonitor drivers' performance and hold accountable when performance is below expectations, using coaching and/or progressive discipline, as neededComplete driver’s annual performance reviewsReview driver’s lytx and logs and coach according to the company Collaborate on drivers' onboarding and trainingEnsure a safe work environment in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirementsEffectively communicate day-to-day with drivers, departments and vendorsCreate a positive environment, morale and respect among team membersAttend and participate in classroom or virtual Leadership & Development trainingsCoordinate safety/team/quarterly meetingsReporting/Budget:
Prepare and assist with Transportation generated reportsMonitor budget and fuel cards to ensure funds are maximizedParticipate in the development of budgetsRouting, Scheduling, Hours of Service, and Maintenance:
Weekly schedule driver routes and re-routing as necessary to ensure route coverageConduct route analysis and recommend saving opportunities to ManagerMonitor driver hours of service via onboard systemConduct route observations to ensure Drivers are safely performing their duties as required by company and DOT standards (The numbers of observations per period are determined by the number of drivers at the SCC)Maintain and monitor food safety standards in compliance with company and franchisee requirementsPerform payroll duties when necessary and review driver payroll for accuracyMonitor mis-deliveries, and make recommendations to Manager on avoidance strategiesMaintain driver qualification fileSchedule truck maintenance and maintain fleet imageConduct accident investigationsCoordinate deliveries and backhauls activities Assist the Transportation Manager with truck leasing meetings to ensure PMs are met to Domino’s standard and repairs are completed in a timely mannerPerform other duties as assigned by leadershipAs needed, if qualified, drive company vehicle or straight truck for deliveries or to leasing company for service/maintenance, and on occasion work the yard

Answer Slice of Pie complaints and keep leadership informed of findingsMaintain positive customer relationshipsCustomer Surveys High School Diploma, some college hours, 2-year degree preferred2-3 years of documented supervisory experience2-3 years of route scheduling experienceKnowledge of the Department of Transportation, FMSCA rules and regulationsMS Office, SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), computers, and scanner equipment/softwareWillingness to support a 24-hour operation, including carrying an emergency cell phone as neededResults-oriented with strong organizational, decision-making and people skillsSuccessfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary dateCommercial Driver’s License Class A, a plus CDL A is preferred
