SHIFT: 3 AM-5 PM Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $28 per hour + 2% TAD Bonus
Safely drives company commercial vehicle over or on established route(s) to pick up & deliver product and render customer service at intercompany and supplier locations. This will include yard work, which entails shuttling tractor/trailers to and from the logistic company, and repositioning trailers parked on the yard to include backing trailers to dock doors. Ensure that tasks performed are done in a safe manner, including wearing proper PPE.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
(70%) Drive, Deliver and Unload Product
Safely drive assigned truck safely on designated route(s) to deliver product to Domino's intercompany and supplier locations; may be required to run routes as part of a team or as a single driver. Some overnight stays may be requiredSafely deliver vegetable palettes dock to dock, no touch freightVerify trailer temperatures at each stop and accuracy of deliverySafely secure product in trailer after each deliveryListen to and timely resolve customer service complaintsRequired to always wear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards while workingAttend scheduled safety, team meetings and training sessionsFollow all local, state, federal and Domino's safety rules, policies, and procedures(30%) Complete Necessary Paperwork
Responsible for verifying and securing load prior to dispatchEnsure you have required safety equipment before dispatchPerform pre- and post-trip safety vehicle inspections at every stop – beginning and end of each tripVerify log of driving activities dailyComplete all safety test timelyComply with DOT log regulations by ELDAccountable for the vehicle and productComplete paperwork (DVIR, Trip Sheet, Load Assessment Forms) per DOT, and Company policies and procedures High School Diploma or GEDMust be at least 21 years of ageSix months of verifiable CMV driving experience, one year preferred Must have valid class A Commercial Driver’s License [CDL] w Air BrakesMust maintain a DOT Med CertMust always meet the defined MVR standards to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicleMust pass DOT physicalMust successfully pass a background checks every third year on your anniversary dateMust be able to work around onions and green peppersPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, climb stairs, and lift to 50 lbs. frequently and 100 lbs. on occasion, perform heavy pushing/pulling of product, work in refrigerated conditions [33-38 degrees], outdoor weather [rain, sleet, heat, snow, etc.], and work in environment with exposure to loud machinery, when necessary.
