We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Quality Manager to join our Infrastructure Delivery team on a full-time basis. The role is based in Brisbane, QLD, with the successful candidate located at Brigalow for the duration of the project.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will play a key role in the end to end management of quality assurance and management across our Brigalow Peaking Power Plant. (BPPP) Focusing on the continuous improvement of initiatives of performance benefits, you will contribute to the delivery of successful handover of these projects to our Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish Quality Assurance practices to support delivery of BPPP across construction, commissioning, and handover phases • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems aligned with organisational standards • Ensure projects meet internal standards as well as customer and regulatory compliance requirements • Partner with Project Directors and delivery teams to provide QA guidance, audits, and assurance across the full project lifecycle • Drive continuous improvement by identifying systemic issues, implementing corrective actions, and optimising processes

Your background

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance within large-scale infrastructure, construction, energy, or similar project environments • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing QA outcomes • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and compliance frameworks • Experience supporting project delivery phases including design, execution, commissioning, and handover • Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and managing audit, reporting, and compliance processes

The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for executing APA’s major capital projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. We manage the full lifecycle of large‑scale infrastructure delivery — from early development and design through to construction, commissioning and handover into operations.

Our team brings together deep technical expertise, disciplined project governance and strong partnerships with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver the energy infrastructure that supports Australia’s future. With a significant pipeline of complex projects underway, it’s an exciting time to join Infrastructure Delivery as we continue to expand our capability and impact.
