About this role
Responsibilities include:
• Providing daily care for hospitalized pets, including feeding, watering, walking, and monitoring comfort and well-being • Administering medications as directed by the veterinary team • Bathing and brushing pets as needed • Assisting with patient check-in and check-out procedures • Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating observations to the veterinary team • Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, runs, cages, and treatment areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment • Assisting veterinarians, technicians, and veterinary assistants with patient handling and restraint • Supporting diagnostic and treatment procedures, including sample collection, radiographs, and laboratory work when appropriate • Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hospital environment • Providing compassionate care and attention to every patient throughout their stay
What We're Looking For
• A genuine passion for animal care and welfare • Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail • Strong communication and organizational skills • Comfortable handling dogs, cats, and exotic pets of varying sizes and temperaments • Previous animal care, kennel, boarding, or veterinary experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person
