HOURLY RATE- $23.55 FULL TIME HOURS
WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Reporting to the Patrol Supervisor, Team Leaders are responsible for ensuring consistent on-hill coverage according to business levels, available terrain and surface conditions. They will ensure proper and consistent opening and closing routines for their assigned pods, including the completion of all associated documentation and communications. The team leader will actively patrol according to expectations and mentor team accordingly and effectively.
• Checking and monitoring trail conditions. • Ensures supply inventory and equipment is in proper working order. • Meeting the operating expectations as they relate to guest experience, safety and effectiveness. • Performing incident investigations and ensuring proper and complete documentation. • Ensures that all aspects of an incident are handled with a high standard of care. • Renders first aid and offers assistance to all those in need. • Leading a facilitating training sessions. • Is vigilant and maintains the communication stream between Patrollers and Patrol Supervisors. • Provide assistance in other areas as assigned by Supervisors or Management. • Provides team spirit and cooperative work ethics.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• At least 18 years of age with a valid G license • Current First Responder certification or equivalent • Experience with patrolling and customer service. • Strong intermediate skier / snowboarder (able to ski / board all resort terrain) • Must be able and willing to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment • Successful applicants will be required to complete a criminal background check (vulnerable sector) • Must be able to reason and react with quick thoughtful judgement while remaining calm under pressure
