Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the intended requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through complex challenges and driving the successful delivery of software products. Collaboration and proactive problem-solving are key elements throughout the day, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project deadlines. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and project understanding. - Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components. - Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and quality. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault. - Experience with software configuration and application lifecycle management within regulated environments. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions. - Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and integration techniques relevant to Veeva Vault. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly. - Knowledge of software development best practices and version control systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Veeva Vault. - This position is based at our DDC2A - SEZ location. - A 15 years full time education is required.
