About this role
Your mission As a Junior Project Manager, you’ll be part of an experienced team of loyalty specialists. You’ll learn the ropes by supporting the Senior Project Managers, but you’ll also be given responsibility for a number of projects of your own, with the necessary support.<br><br>In this way, you’ll become a key figure in a wide variety of (event) communication and loyalty projects. From creation and copywriting, budgeting and pricing proposals, right through to final production and on-site roll-out, you’ll soon have it all down to a fine art. The Project Manager liaises with the Account Manager and reports to the Client<br>Director, who has overall responsibility for a client portfolio.<br><br><strong>Job description</strong><br><br>Your role is varied and offers an ideal opportunity for growth through the gradual build-up of responsibilities:<ul><li>Client Communication & Support: You’ll start as the first point of contact for operational enquiries from clients and suppliers, enabling you to get to know the projects and processes very quickly.</li><li>Support for large-scale projects: You’ll provide close support to Senior Project Managers on complex projects, assisting with planning, budget monitoring and on-site coordination.</li><li>Independent Project Management: As your expertise grows, you’ll take independent charge of smaller projects and initiatives from start to finish.</li><li>Production & Hands-on Event Coordination: During the implementation phase, you’ll be ‘the person to go to’. You’ll be happy to swap your desk job for operational work on site or at events to ensure everything runs smoothly.</li><li>Independent Project Management: As your expertise grows, you’ll take the lead on smaller projects and initiatives from start to finish.</li><li>Production & Hands-on Event Coordination: During the implementation phase, you’ll be ‘the person to go to’. You’ll be happy to swap your desk job for hands-on work on site or at events to ensure everything runs smoothly and professionally.</li><li>Copywriting & Content Creation: You write fluent and persuasive copy for online and offline channels: newsletters, mailings, e-invitations and presentations.</li><li>Newsletters & Content Management: You are responsible for designing, scheduling and managing newsletters, as well as the day-to-day management of the loyalty platforms and underlying Content Management Systems (CMS).</li><li>Brainstorming & Concept Development: Together with the team, you’ll take part in brainstorming sessions, develop innovative event concepts and turn these into compelling proposals.</li></ul> Your profile <ul><li>Education & Experience: You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in Communication, Marketing, Event Management or equivalent) and have gained some initial relevant experience.</li><li>Strong Communicator & Copywriter: You have an excellent command of the written word in Dutch and French. You know how to turn complex messages into engaging texts and newsletters. A good knowledge of English is an advantage.</li><li>Organisational Skills: You have a natural talent for meticulous planning and organisation, multitasking and managing tight deadlines.</li><li>Eye for Detail & Aesthetics: You won’t settle for half-measures and always dot the i’s and cross the t’s, with an eye for aesthetics, tidiness and quality.</li><li>Hands-on & Flexible: You have a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude, are a problem-solver and keep a cool head when plans change.
