Your mission <strong>Working Hours: <br>Monday to Friday <br>5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (4 hours per day) <br>Total Hours: 20 hours per week </strong><br><br><br><strong>Job Purpose:</strong><br><strong> </strong><br>To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the premises by carrying out a range of routine and ad hoc cleaning duties. This position is critical to ensuring the premises are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness each evening. <br> <br><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong><br><ul><li><span><span>Clean, dust, and sanitize surfaces including desks, counters, and communal touchpoints.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout designated areas.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Empty bins and replace liners.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and </span><span>washroom </span><span>areas.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Clean kitchenettes and staff break areas.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Follow specific cleaning schedules for deeper cleaning tasks (e.g., windows, skirting boards).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor or site manager.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Comply with</span><span> health and safety regulations and site-specific requirements.</span></span></li></ul> Your profile <strong>Person Specification:</strong> <br>Essential: <br><ul><li><span>Previous cleaning experience in commercial, office, or public buildings.</span></li><li><span>Ability to work independently and take initiative.</span></li><li><span>Good timekeeping and reliability.</span></li><li><span>Attention to detail and high standards of hygiene.</span></li></ul>Desirable: <br><ul><li><span>Knowledge of COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).</span></li><li><span>Basic English communication skills for understanding instructions and signage.</span></li></ul><strong> <br>Additional Information: </strong><br><ul><li><span>This role involves working independently after regular business hours.</span></li><li><span>Cleaning supplies and storage areas will be provided on site.</span></li><li><span>The successful candidate may be subject to background checks if required by the client or location.</span></li></ul><span>INDHP</span>
