Willow Practice has an exciting new vacancy for a salaried GP to join our existing dynamic clinical team. The successful candidate will provide excellent medical care for our patients and involve themselves in the life and development of the practice. We're a welcoming, down to earth team that values collaboration, learning and looking after one another. Our growing team includes GPs, coders, pharmacists, paramedics, ANP, Nurse Associates, HCAs and fantastic reception and admin staff, helping keep workloads safe and admin manageable.We are a team committed to delivering the best possible care and we are looking for the right GP to enhance our team.
We are looking for a part-time salaried GP (flexible on days and session times for the right candidate).
As a salaried GP, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and interests. You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities, including leading on clinical audits and meetings within the practice.
We are a paper-light, digital-first surgery, with one of the highest System Connect usages across London, and with high QOF achievement

As a Salaried GP at Willow Practice, you will provide high quality, patient centred care within a supportive, well structured working day. Your role includes routine and duty clinics, collaborative clinical discussions, contributing to practice development and working closely with our wider primary care team.

Willow Practice is a total triaged practice, well-established, busy and diverse training practice located Hounslow (West London). We are a friendly and innovative GP practice, serving a diverse and dynamic population of over 7,000 patients, offering a range of services including minor surgery, long-term conditions reviews, care planning, ECGs, phlebotomy.Through our PCN affiliation, we are able to offer more services with specialist staff including social prescribing, paramedic home visits, mental health practitioner and physiotherapy, ANP as well as providing access to extended and out of hours appointments in the evening and weekends.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated salaried GP to join our clinical team includes 2 GP partners, four salaried GPs and a cohort of GP registrars, practice nurses, HCAs, clinical pharmacists and administrative staff, who work collaboratively to delivery excellent primary health care services. As an accredited training practice, we support GP registrars, medical students, we use SystmOne Practice. We are known for our strong team culture and our ability to balance high quality patient care with a positive, enjoyable working environment. supported by an experienced management team who are readily available to assist staff. Education and development are central to our ethos, and we hold regular monthly training sessions for the whole team to support ongoing learning and continuous improvement.
Job description Job responsibilities
As a Salaried GP at Willow Practice, you will provide high quality, patient centred clinical care within a well supported, structured, and sustainable working day. Your core responsibilities will include delivering routine and duty clinics, participating in collaborative clinical discussions, contributing to practice development, and engaging with the wider primary care team.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
Admitting or discharging patients to and from the caseload and referring to other care providers as appropriate
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards on SystmOne
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
Prescribing in accordance with the practice and local CCG prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate
In general, the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, including QOF assessments.
