Leadership team administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a leadership team administrator to join West Leeds Family Practice to work 16-20 hours per week, preferably over 3-4 days. The leadership team comprises a Business Manager 2 days a week, a Deputy Practice Manager 4 days a week and an Operations Manager 4 days a week
The practice is based over 3 sites all close to each other. Our supportive team are well established, friendly, hardworking and dedicated to providing a good experience for the patient and a pleasant working environment.
The administrator will support the senior leadership team based at West Lodge Surgery, managing the day to day duties required of the team. Ideal working hours would be 5 hours each day over 3- 4 days but this is negotiable.
Interviews are scheduled to take place on Tuesaday 15th September

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the effective operation of the GP practice through the administration related to human resources, health and safety, governance, and CQC compliance. To ensure the practice remains compliant with NHS requirements, employment legislation, and health and safety regulations while supporting the leadership team in their day to day work - please see attached job description for more detail

We have 21,000 patients and a large team of GP's Nurses HCA and administration.
We are a Training Practice for both GP Registrars and Leeds University Medical Students.

2. Minor surgery including joint injections
3. Paramedic home visiting team support
4. Pharmacy Team including PCN Pharmacist support

Job description Job responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Human Resources
Maintain employee personnel records and confidential HR documentation. Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, issuing contracts, and onboarding new staff. Monitor mandatory training, DBS checks, professional registrations, and appraisals. Assist with employee absence management and maintain leave records. Support HR policies and procedures in accordance with employment legislation and practice requirements. Liaise with external HR advisors when required.
Health & Safety
Maintain the practice Health & Safety management system and associated records. Coordinate risk assessments and ensure actions are completed and reviewed. Monitor accident and incident reporting processes. Organise fire safety checks, drills, and equipment testing schedules. Support workplace audits and implementation of corrective actions.
Compliance & Governance
Support CQC compliance and evidence gathering for inspections. Monitor compliance with GDPR, confidentiality, and information governance requirements. Maintain business continuity and emergency planning documentation. Assist with safeguarding administration and statutory compliance requirements.
General Administration
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and documentation for management meetings. Coordinate meetings, Provide administrative support to the Practice Manager and Partners
