About this role

Job summary As a Care Assistant, you will provide person-centred care and support to residents, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will assist with personal care and daily routines, meals and activities, while also offering companionship and emotional support. By getting to know each resident as an individual and understanding what matters to them, you will help create a safe, welcoming environment where people feel valued and able to live well. Working closely with colleagues, families and other members of the care team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality care and creating meaningful moments every day. Main duties of the job If you are a caring, patient and compassionate person who enjoys making a positive difference to others, this could be the opportunity for you. As a Care Assistant, you will support residents with their everyday needs, from personal care and mealtimes to activities, companionship and emotional wellbeing. The role is about much more than practical support: it is about building trusting relationships, encouraging choice and independence, and helping each person enjoy their day. You do not need previous experience in care, as full training and ongoing support are provided. We are looking for people who are reliable, positive, good listeners and willing to learn, with a genuine desire to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Care Assistant to join our Care team.

As a Care Assistant, youll support residents with daily living, from personal care to mealtimes and activities, always taking a person-centred approach. Youll get to know each resident as an individualwhat matters to them, what makes them smileand tailor your support to help them live well.

No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.
