We're looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team at Cygnet Wast Hills. Working 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00).
You'll be at the heart of our service, ensuring colleagues, visitors and the people in our care receive a warm welcome and outstanding support from the moment they arrive.
Cygnet Wast Hills provides dedicated, person-centred support to men with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs in a robust environment.
The service has a number of independent and communal living spaces for the individuals we support, to maximise opportunities to progress through their care pathway towards greater independence.

Your day-to-day at Cygnet Wast Hills:
Provide a professional, friendly and welcoming reception experience for all visitors, colleagues and service users.
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring a positive and professional impression of the service.
Greet visitors and notify the appropriate member of staff of their arrival.
Ensure visitors sign in and out, and that patients leaving and returning are recorded appropriately.
Answer, scree n and transfer incoming calls, taking accurate messages where required.
Respond to general enquiries via telephone, email and in person in a timely and professional manner.
Sort, distribute and prepare incoming and outgoing post, deliveries and courier packages.
Support with the booking and preparation of meeting rooms and visitor arrangements.
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems in line with company policies and procedures.
Assist with filing, scanning, photocopying and document management.
Support the administration team with data entry, reporting and other ad hoc administrative tasks.
Order and maintain office and reception supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient.

You are...
An experienced receptionist/administrator used to working with customers/clients - ideally within the healthcare sector.
Organised, naturally helpful & a good multi-tasker
Computer literate including Windows/Word/Excel/Outlook or equivalent
Knowledgeable of telephone systems and maintaining a professional telephone manner.
Polite, friendly & approachable with excellent communication skills
GCSE Maths & English qualified, with a good level of numeracy & literacy
Diligent & accurate, with an eye for detail & an understanding of confidentiality
