Your Responsibilities:
work as part of our Outbound Data Science team to further optimize our innovative product based on machine learning and artificial intelligencework on advanced and demanding AI fields such as Reinforcement and Q learningidentify, understand, structure and solve complex problemswork on projects that deliver measurable value to our businessexperiment with new technologies and acquire new skills to find clever solutions to the unique challenges we facecommunicate between all stakeholders (data scientists, lead developers, product management, business owners) and present technical product concepts
What we're looking for:
2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in a startup or fintech companyexperience with Python and with data processing packages (e.g. Pandas, Numpy) familiarity with web frameworks like Flask or FastAPIknowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQLtrack-record of successful projects using machine learning to solve business problemsexperience with agile development practices such as TDD/BDD, continuous integration, refactoring, code reviews, etc.excellent English speaking and writing skills Things that will make you stand out:
a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or similarexperience with machine learning frameworks (e.g. pytorch, scikit-learn, transformers)hands-on experience with deployment of (ideally open source) LLMs (hosting, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, evaluation)experience with Reinforcement Learning experience with cloud-based infrastructure solutions, such as AWS Transparency, Execution, Ownership, Customer Centricity, Innovation and Integrity are important to us and we at PAIR Finance embody these values. For this mid-level role, our salary band is €58,000 - €73,000 gross per year (based on a 40-hour work week).
