About this role
V.Ships Leisure is looking for Mandarin speaking Barman on behalf of Ponant Cruises. As a Barman you will look after your own bar and lounge. You will be responsible for taking guest orders, preparing drinks, service and cleanliness of the area. You will need a strong knowledge of international brands and cocktails, as well as a desire to please guests. Arrive on time and follow the schedule. Serve the alcoholic drinks, conforming to the law and policy of the company usage regulations of other countries. To know the international cocktails and the different liquors and spirits to advise the passengers on their choice. Keep very high cleanliness around the bars under the USPH, HACCP rules and fill out the cleaning logs every day. Highlight our premium selection, our promotions and workshops which will be decided by the Bar Manager. Contribute at different training sessions and meeting. Respect the garbage storage plan. Use in a right way the sanitary equipment on board. Respect the safety rules on board. To be able to work with a team spirit but also alone behind one bar and follow properly the steps of a typical working day (opening and closing of the bar, set up everything, provide e 5-star service) To be able to do other duties, which can be given by the bar manager of the hotel manager (win service in the restaurant, loading….)
