About this role
We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support our Non-Core Wastewater projects across Cheshire and Greater Manchester. Working across multiple sites within the United Utilities region, you will provide engineering and technical support, oversee quality standards and ensure works are delivered accurately and in accordance with project requirements. Undertake setting out activities, including line and level Use setting-out equipment confidently, including EDM and dumpy levels—not solely GPS Complete pre- and post-work inspections and checks Maintain accurate site records and produce as-built information Carry out quality checks on materials and completed installations Check the setting out and quality of subcontracted works Act as the quality lead across assigned projects Respond to technical queries at site level Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors and project teams Work independently across multiple sites Ensure works comply with relevant specifications, drawings and quality standards
