Assistant Lawyer - Complex Injury 📍 Manchester | Hybrid Working (1 Day Per Week in the Office) Join a Team handling some significant injury claims Are you an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking an ambitious and proactive Assistant Lawyer to join our highly regarded Complex Injury team in Manchester. Whether your background is claimant or defendant litigation, we'd love to hear from you if you're confident managing investigations, progressing cases independently, and thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment. You'll work closely with an experienced Partner on a fascinating caseload of Employer's Liability, Public Liability and Road Traffic Accident claims, with values ranging from £100 thousand through to £750 million. These are complex, high-profile matters often involving catastrophic injuries, making this an exceptional opportunity to develop your technical expertise whilst working on nationally significant cases. Working alongside the Partner and wider team, you'll play a key role in progressing complex personal injury claims through all stages of the litigation process, including: Managing investigations and identifying key liability and quantum issues Reviewing and analysing medical, liability and quantum evidence Interviewing witnesses and preparing witness statements Drafting legal documentation, pleadings and applications Liaising with clients, insurers, experts, counsel and other stakeholders Attending conferences, mediations, settlement meetings and court hearings Supporting the development of case strategy and claim resolution We're looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of tasks, working proactively and helping drive matters forward.
