Location: Utrecht, Netherlands We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Carbon Solutions team in Utrecht. In this role, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities across the EMEA region, focusing on our portfolio of carbon credits and Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs). Working closely with the Carbon Sales team, you will identify and engage key decision-makers within target organizations, initiate meaningful conversations through outbound outreach, and help build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to develop their career within the fast-growing sustainability and carbon markets sector. Conduct outbound prospecting activities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other engagement channels. Identify, research, and engage relevant stakeholders within target organizations across the EMEA region. Build, maintain, and enrich targeted lead lists using internal resources, market research, and external databases. Qualify prospects by understanding their business needs, sustainability objectives, and fit with our Carbon Solutions offerings. Generate interest in webinars, events, and thought leadership initiatives, ensuring effective follow-up with attendees and prospects. Schedule meetings and hand over qualified opportunities to the Carbon Sales team for further development. Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, activities, and pipeline progression within HubSpot. Collaborate closely with Business Development and Sales colleagues to align outreach activities, target accounts, and campaign priorities. Monitor outreach performance and continuously optimize lead generation strategies based on results and feedback. Stay informed on sustainability trends, carbon markets, carbon credits, EACs, and broader climate-related developments to support relevant customer conversations.
