Senior Java Developer Working Location: Foshan, PRC Experience: 5-8 years Key Responsibilities Participate in the design, development, enhancement and support of enterprise applications and digital solutions. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts and stakeholders to deliver business requirements. Participate in system integration design and implementation with internal and external platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability and performance. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Support DevOps activities including CI/CD pipeline implementation, release deployment and environment management. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance when required. Prepare technical documentation, solution design documents and operational procedures. Participate in project planning, estimation and risk assessment activities. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related disciplines. 5-8 years of software development experience. Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL. Experience with source control systems such as Git. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or OpenShift. Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms such as OpenShift, AWS or GCP. Experience in financial services, pension, insurance or banking systems. Experience leading small development teams or acting as technical lead. Knowledge of system performance tuning and application monitoring tools.
