We are currently hiring for three immediate openings and establishing an eligibility pool that may be used to fill future vacancies for up to one year. Job Definition Under the direction of the Manager, Substation Construction & Operations or Wireman Foreman works on the construction and maintenance of station and substation equipment. Distinguishing Characteristics The Wireman classification is distinguished from the Apprentice Wireman classification by the increased technical knowledge and skill required to perform the work. The Wireman (Journeyman) has successfully completed a certified Wireman Apprentice program. Is required to purchase all personal hand tools under one-inch (1”). Minimum Qualifications Education/Experience: Must qualify as a Wireman Journeyman by having completed three (3) years of training in Wireman work, or its equivalent. High School diploma or equivalent. License, Certification and/or Testing: Obtain a valid Washington State Commercial Driver License (Class A) with a good driving record within six (6) months from job start date. Obtain a valid First Aid certificate within 3 months from job start date. Obtain a valid CPR certificate within 3 months from job start date.
