The Opportunity Tullow is offering an exciting opportunity within the Group Finance team, reporting to the Finance Business Partner. We are looking for a dynamic Finance Business Advisor (G&A and Corporate Projects) to join us on a Contract basis , located at our office in Accra, Ghana. Job Purpose Undertake and support G&A management accounting and forecasting, including preparation of monthly management reports; facilitation of forecasting; and supporting the annual budgeting process. Act as a point of contact for G&A cost centre budget holders, providing financial insights and support with regards G&A budget management and cost control. Ensure G&A cost centre budget holders are fully supported in all aspects of G&A review, forecasting and budgeting, ensuring an appropriate balance in the provision of support, guidance, and insights. Key Roles and Responsibilities Management Reporting Produce monthly G&A report to support MPR Meet with budget holders on a bi-monthly basis to discuss actuals and forecasts of G&A, corporate projects and timewriting. Proactively and appropriately support the Businesses associated information requests such as JV Partner meetings, JV Audit, Cost recovery Audit and Tax audit related information requests. Ensure actuals and forecast for G&A (including for P&L and Cashflow) are accurately captured in SAC. G&A Accounting Ensure accurate data collection of G&A costs within the SAP accounting system and SAC reporting tool, including month end processes around group allocations, accruals (Contractors, R&M, SBP, Concur, Bonus etc) and prepayments Budgeting & Forecasting Supporting the annual budget and reforecast processes for G&A, Corporate Projects, time-writing and allocations. Provide relevant cash flow analysis to Treasury. Time-writing Support monthly timewriting compliance, working with timewriters to fix errors and correct missing time-writing. Support the quarterly manual time-writing true-up process. Audits Support the Independent audit certification process for group recharges and allocations. Liaise with external auditors as required to assist with the audit of G&A Expenses. General Manage relationships with remote Accenture team to enable prompt and accurate data postings. Identify further opportunities to rationalise and outsource regular processes. Support continued cost analysis and cost control recommendations. Initiate process improvements to reduce re-work and reclassifications to ensure costs are booked first-time right. Experience & Education Relevant Bachelors Degree ACCA qualified Skills Strong Financial accounting and analytical skills Strong Management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills Knowledge and experience of general and administration / head office costs and allocations Business partnering and budget holder support SAP experience preferable Advanced Microsoft Excel preferable We believe in building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our people.
