The Production Technician is an integral part of our Manufacturing team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site. Hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Position Details Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our Production group in this full-time, entry-level position. This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 am - 1 :30 pm, with some mandatory overtime. Key Responsibilities • Operation, care and routine maintenance of production fermentation processing equipment • Assembly and disassembly of valves and manufacturing equipment • Clean and sanitize work room and equipment between each production run. • Accurately weigh raw material for production • Participate in inventory counts • Must be able to perform daily duties safely in a fast-paced, team environment • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including general cleaning duties for plant and employee safety • Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices • All manufacturing activities will be performed according to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) Key Competencies Accountable Accepting Direction Attendance and Punctuality Attentive Listening Communicating Effectively Delivering High Quality Work Demonstrating Initiative Detailed Oriented Working Safely Follows Safety Policies and Procedures Timeliness: Number of days tardy (calendar year) Skills High degree of time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at once. Education & Experience • High School diploma and/or 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred but not required . • We will train the right candidate.
