To start as soon as possible, full time, Secondment Functional area: Engineering An exciting 18 month fixed term contract opportunity has become available to join the Rampion Engineering team as an Operations Engineer. The role will include responsibilities across a diverse range of topics including, but not limited to, critical asset & risk management, procurement & contract management, project management and technical root cause analysis that deliver on strong site performance KPIs. About the role Manage the successful delivery of specified maintenance campaigns including all elements of contract management, work planning, safety management and budget responsibility Own, update and maintain at least one critical component Rampion Asset Management & Operation (RAMO) strategy, including maintaining all relevant risk entries, updating the maintenance strategy and managing any emergent issues associated with the asset Manage the delivery of improvement projects such as root cause analyses, modifications and implementation of changes that improve site performance Support team members with operational tasks across all key areas of operations engineering Manage budgets >£250k and associated financial planning and reporting Engage in joint venture reporting and lead on specified technical call topics Engage and support so far as is needed the completion of major projects and outage works on site Integrate into and help steer the site safety and behaviour culture Job requirements and experience Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline or working towards a similar level qualification with wind industry experience Driven to succeed with excellent interpersonal skills Resilient and able to influence your peers There is a requirement to be onsite at Rampion for a minimum of 3 days per week. An offer of employment in this role may require holding active or ability to pass National Security vetting to SC level.
