About this role

We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for an EHS Manager (m/f/d) within our Plant Management team to help support our Automotive business. That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As an EHS Manager (m/f/d) , you will lead and evolve our Environmental, Health & Safety function, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements while fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by reducing risk, enhancing employee wellbeing, and supporting sustainable business success. The team you will be working with is a dedicated group of EHS Technicians who are passionate about creating a safe, healthy, and high-performing workplace. Additionally, you’ll: Drive a safety-first culture and support our commitment to a zero-accident workplace Provide guidance, coach, and support colleagues to ensure high performance and to inspire everyone to live a strong safety culture Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, corporate standards, and internal requirements through effective monitoring and auditing activities Lead EHS training and awareness initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and promote safe working practices Monitor regulatory developments and corporate requirements, ensuring timely implementation of necessary actions Review and approve new equipment, processes, and operational changes to identify and mitigate potential EHS risks Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance EHS performance, compliance, and operational excellence Ensure accurate EHS reporting and effective use of the Safeguard system Support emergency response, business continuity, and assigned deputy or back-up responsibilities as required To be successful in this role, you’ll need: A degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline Certified Prevention Advisor Level II (Level I would be an advantage) and ideally Environmental Coordinator Level A or B 5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, Automotive experience is a plus Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation and compliance requirements Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills A data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent Dutch, French and English language skills What to Do Next Now that you’ve had a chance to learn more about us, what are you waiting for!
