Tieve Tara Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated Nursing Associate to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients across a diverse primary care population. This is an excellent opportunity to work autonomously within your professional scope of practice while contributing to the health and wellbeing of our local community.
As a registered Nursing Associate, you will be accountable for your own practice in accordance with the NMC Code and work as an integral member of the primary care team. You will contribute to the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care, supporting people with a wide range of physical and mental health needs.
Working across all aspects of primary care, you will deliver a variety of clinical interventions and health promotion activities while supporting patients to achieve positive health outcomes.

You will:
Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care within your scope of practice.
Undertake clinical assessments, observations and therapeutic interventions.
Administer medicines and vaccinations following appropriate training, competency assessment and local policies.
Run nurse-led clinics
What We're Looking For
Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register who has experience of working with individuals who have complex health needs in a health or social care setting.
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and recognise when to seek support.
Good patient assessment skills and clinical judgement.
Computer literacy and experience using digital patient records systems.

Person Specification
Education Essential
NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care. Registered with the NMC and have the Associate Nurse qualification
Knowledge and Experience Essential
Demonstration of experience of working with people with complex health needs, in a health or social care setting. In depth knowledge of health of primary care, mental health and addiction support and an ability to work across these areas. Experience of work in a multi disciplinary team setting. Knowledge of nursing procedures and practices gained through NVQ 4 or equivalent and Associate Nurse qualification. Understanding and application of confidentiality.
Desirable
Previous experience of using or accessing mental health services or caring for someone who has accessed services. Knowledge or experience of working within a GP Practice environment Previous experience of working with people accessing Substance Misuse services or able to demonstrate an understanding of clinical pathways for substance misuse Experience of supervising others.
