About us
Rame Group Practice is a busy, friendly, and forward-thinking GP practice serving the Torpoint and Rame Peninsula community. We are a practice that genuinely cares about our patients, and equally about the people who work with us. Our team is close-knit, enthusiastic, and proud of what we do together.
Over recent years we have built a successful and expanding clinical research programme, participating in a range of NIHR-funded and commercial trials that give our patients access to cutting-edge treatments while contributing to the evidence base that shapes future NHS care. We are proud to hold CRDC (Commercial Research Delivery Centre) host status and are part of a wider primary care research network with an established track record of delivering research to the highest standards. We have mentored other neighbouring practices into successful research sites.
Our dedicated research team currently comprises four doctors, three nurses, an HCA, a co-ordinator and a dietitian. We are a strong, experienced group with a genuine team spirit. We are now looking to expand that team further, and within the next year we will be moving into new, purpose-built enlarged premises that will significantly increase our research capacity and the range of studies we are able to offer.
This is a genuinely exciting time to join us. You will be part of a growing team at the start of a new chapter, with real opportunity to shape how research develops at Rame as we move into our new premises.
