Technical Sourcing – Hardlines
• Support sourcing projects by identifying and evaluating suppliers against defined requirements and specifications. • Source, assess, and recommend new suppliers based on quality, cost, and business needs. • Prepare and maintain quotations, cost analyses, pricing comparisons, and sourcing documentation. • Provide day-to-day operational support to sourcing and buying teams. • Coordinate supplier onboarding activities and manage supplier communications. • Perform product research and market analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and support procurement strategies. • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and business data to support sourcing decisions and category planning. • Prepare presentations, reports, and meeting materials for internal stakeholders. • Administer supplier surveys, consolidate responses, and generate summary insights. • Maintain supplier performance scorecards and monitor key supplier metrics. • Track project timelines, follow-up actions, and sourcing milestones to ensure timely execution. • Generate reports and analytical insights to support business and sourcing activities. • Maintain and update product master data, costing databases, and project tracking tools. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sourcing initiatives, procurement projects, and business objectives.
• 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret costing, pricing, and business data. • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and consolidating information from multiple sources. • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams. • Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. • Mandarin and/or Cantonese language proficiency is preferred and considered an advantage. • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
