Roles & responsibilities
•This role requires detailed knowledge of routines and procedures in order to sufficiently perform non-routine tasks.
•Role uses initiative and independent judgement to perform work. This role applies broad theoretical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and/or work experience.
Project Delivery
•Prepare test plans and test scenarios
•Collaborate with Dev team to setup test environment and data
•Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases and scripts
•Execute both manual and automated testing
•Execute performance testing as defined in the test plan
•Log defects uncovered during testing
•Provide daily QA status reports
•Interact & collaborate with multiple stakeholders for review of workpapers
Quality
•Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
•Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time
•Ensure that documents are prepared with no quality issue
People
•Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
•Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
•Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Excellent knowledge of auditing and auditing concepts and methodologies
•Excellent documentation skills
•Good understanding of software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts
•Good knowledge of SDLC & STLC
•Experience in defect creation & retesting
•Experience in bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
•Experience In agile methodologies
Preferred technical & functional skills
•Proven technical expertise in Alteryx (Alteryx Designer Core certified) or Power BI (Microsoft Certified)
•Certification from ISTQB or similar certification from recognized institutions

Educational qualifications
•MBA with good understanding of accounting / auditing concepts as well as experience of Data Analytics/software testing concepts
Work experience
•5-7 years of work experience in relevant discipline
•Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing domain is preferable
