About this role

In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the delivery of superior products that meet customer specifications and Honeywell’s standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and set up various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts. • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements. • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure parts meet required tolerances and standards. • Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. • Train associates on processes and procedures related to machining to ensure compliance and safety. • Comply with all safety and quality standards and procedures.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years proven experience as a machinist with advanced skills in operating and setting up machine tools. • Strong knowledge of machining processes, precision measurement tools, and quality control standards. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately. • Experience with CNC machines and manual machining equipment. • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment. • Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology. • Proficiency in CNC programming and operation. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Experience as a mentor or leader
