What you'll achieve As a Senior Principal Software Security Engineer, you will collaborate on the strategy and lead execution for scaling AI-native secure engineering across the Services Software Portfolio. You will work with cross-functional teams—including security advisors, developers, and product managers—to integrate security into software delivery through AI-assisted development, automated vulnerability detection, and measurable risk reduction. This role offers opportunities to innovate at the intersection of Software Security and AI, contributing to resilient products that protect users and data. You will:
• Define and execute the AI-native software security strategy for the Services Software Portfolio, including adoption goals, risk-reduction outcomes, and executive-level reporting. • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development, automated remediation, and AI-enabled developer workflows across Security Champion communities and engineering teams. • Embed security into each phase of the SDLC using AI-powered controls to automate checks, improve consistency, and reduce manual effort. • Lead AI-enhanced threat modeling and risk assessment, using data-driven insights to identify vulnerabilities, predict attack paths, and prioritize remediation. • Establish communities of practice for AI-native security engineering and mentor Security Champions on effective, responsible AI utilization. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in software security engineering, cybersecurity architecture, product security, or DevSecOps leadership, including enterprise-scale SDLC governance and measurable adoption outcomes. • Strong understanding of SDLC, SDL, Application Security, Threat Modeling, Vulnerability Management, and Open Source Security. • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, or C++) and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and AI-assisted development tools. • Executive communication and stakeholder management experience, with the ability to influence senior leaders and geographically distributed engineering organizations. Desirable Requirements
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP. • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and AI-enhanced security tools (e.g., Snyk, Veracode).
