FULL-TIME DAYS
The Distribution Tech – Receiver is responsible for maintaining supply stock at location. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
General Functions:
• Receives and processes various supply orders. • Delivers supplies to the desired destination. • Builds orders for stock replenishment. • Replenishes crash carts and trays. • Maintains and cleans stock locations. • Loads and unloads materials within the storage facility. • Participates in physical inventory and cycle counts. • Handles supplies: removes all products from casings and rotates stock to assure all products are use prior to expiration date • Performs receiving, distribution and shipping functions • Follows department policies and procedure to determine whether to discard or clean and disinfect items returned for processing • Monitors stock returns and usage rates and notifies leader when par levels are inadequate • Surveys supplies to determine which supplies have reached re-order points and then orders supplies • Performs data entry • Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively • Maintains safe environment • Participates in Performance Improvement activities
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent PREFERRED EDUCATION: Some college coursework MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: No previous work experience needed PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year in supply chain #LI-JH5
