About this role

• Complete all safety training, training plan and competency standards as set out in the position within company guidelines. • Must understand of NOV quality policies and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace instructions. • Work in compliance with ( ISO/ API / SCC) • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. • Ability to install advanced completion tools equipment according to operating procedures or within the scope of its intended use.

• Must have a good knowledge and understanding of on location rigs, coiled tubing Tools, Completion Tools / System & Liner Hanger System • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. • Ability to perform advanced downhole hydraulic calculations. • Verify and inspect completion tools equipment and supplies shipped to the wellsite are in proper working condition. • Report status of on-going activities on a daily basis to the Field Service Manager. • Prepare, complete and submit accurate & thorough end of well reports on a timely basis to the Operations Manager/ Field Service Manager. • Prepare JSA (Job Safety Analysis) for wellsite operations. • Hold pre-job meetings, toolbox talks with relevant on location personnel. • Supervise and mentor Field Technician’s I and II as required. • Ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems. • Provide workshop assistance when not at field locations. • Participates in CAT (Corrective Action Teams) to implement corrective/preventive actions. • Participate in actions which promote a safety and quality culture within NOV. • Required to be available on a 24-hour call basis as needed. • Show willingness and flexibility to perform other tasks as instructed by the Operations Manager/Field Service Manager. • Report any unsafe activities or injuries to HSE Manager immediately and also immediate manager. • Be aware of your responsibilities, accountabilities, tasks, and goals for health, safety, and environmental protection. • Work assignments are to be carried out to the highest quality level. • Prepare and keep accurate paperwork on delivery tickets, job reports, time sheets and other similar administrative forms. • Prepare equipment for dispatch; package and load-out according company instructions • Completion of formal job closure including; post job tool inspections, back-loading of equipment, job ticket signature, job submission • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or Equivalent • 5-10 years industry experience in relevant field. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Valid Driver’s License BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES • Ability to mentor entry level field personnel • Individual must be able to follow instructions • Good project management skills • Should be able to work closely with internal and external customers • The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations • Be able to work in remote areas in other countries out of Europe • Good oral and written communication skills. • Self-motivated, self-starter. • Must be able to follow instructions. • Able to work closely with fellow employees. TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES • Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations as it applies to customer requirements. • Proficient field operation’s background. • Successfully complete all training plans and competency standard’s set out for Field Service Specialist II. • Mechanical ability necessary to perform tasks. • Extensive knowledge of downhole equipment across multiple product lines. • Basic level computer skills (Microsoft Office).
