About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice – Sales GTM to support customer-facing activities for Pearson’s digital products. The role will act as a liaison between institutes and the sales team, helping ensure smooth communication, timely report sharing, professional query handling, and effective coordination for customer success. This role is ideal for a fresher or early-career professional who is eager to learn sales operations, customer relationship management, and digital product support in the higher education space.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as a liaison between institutes, faculty, students, and the internal sales team for digital product-related coordination. • Serve as an account relationship executive for assigned institutes and support day-to-day customer engagement activities. • Generate, maintain, and share usage reports, activation reports, progress updates, and other customer-facing reports using Microsoft Excel. • Understand customer queries with empathy, respond professionally, and ensure timely follow-up until closure. • Handle customer base by resolving basic issues and routing technical or product-related complaints to the appropriate customer support teams. • Coordinate with sales, customer support, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing usage of digital products. • Track customer requests, pending actions, escalations, and closures in a structured and timely manner. • Support onboarding, activation, and communication activities for institutes, faculty, and learners as required. • Maintain a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and responsiveness in all customer interactions.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including report preparation, data tracking, basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and formatting. • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with customers and internal teams. • Customer-first mindset with empathy, patience, and professionalism while handling queries or complaints. • Good coordination and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and stakeholders. • Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining customer data, reports, and communication trackers. • Ability to learn digital products quickly and explain basic workflows to customers in a clear and simple manner. • Willingness to work beyond regular office hours occasionally, based on urgent customer or business requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; business, commerce, management, technology, or related fields will be preferred. • Recent graduates or candidates with less than one to three years of experience are encouraged to apply. • Must meet requirements under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. • MUST NOT have ever drawn EPF • Must be legally eligible to work in India.
