Some Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:: Provide Records Management and Document Control support for managing the lifecycle of documents and records within the organization. This includes various tasks and processes to ensure that information is properly created, maintained, stored, and disposed of.
Required Qualifications: • High school diploma • Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered • Shall be at least 18 years of age. • Shall be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the occupation without endangering the health and safety of themselves and/or fellow workers.

Security Clearance Information: SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Discipline Description: Records/Information Management personnel provide timely delivery of information services, including printed, nonprinted and electronic materials. They may classify and catalogue various types of media, conduct research and prepares summaries of findings to requesting personnel, identify and evaluate sources of information, manage these sources, and communicates their presence to all employees within the organization, and develop and maintain record retention/knowledge management policies, practices and procedures.
Career Band Description: • Roles in this band contribute to the business processes to achieve results by providing administrative support to others who use the resulting information, materials, and/or analysis • Performs administrative work • Uses administrative, data organizing and coordination skills to complete work • Performs duties according to established procedures
Career Level Description: Entry level, and acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures.
Job Family Description: Administrative and business services professionals provide various office and location support activities.
