Lab Assistant I
Job Description: Highland Hospital is seeking a Lab Assistant to join the team.This is a per diem role to help with coverage- hours will vary.
The Lab Assistant receives laboratory specimens and requisitions of all types and enters the information into the laboratory information system (LIS) and hospital information system (HIS).
Salary Range: $19.70- $25.51 an hour
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma/GED. Six months of clinical laboratory or healthcare experience. Medical terminology, Keyboarding, Microsoft Windows preferred, Microsoft Outlook experience recommended.
